Personal

When I started blogging back in 2006, I thought it would keep me interested for about 5 minutes.
Apparently I was wrong it seems.
Since then I’ve ranted, raved, laughed, cried and generally had a ball.
I’ve been looking through my posts and decided there are some that mean more than others, so I decided to create a page for them all, and will add to them as I feel the need.
I find it strangely telling that every one of these are personal subjects. Not one is even slightly humourous in my view.
Quite odd given I don’t often leave my heart on show.
{Only the first 3 have reasons for the posts, because they were extra special and I wanted you to know why}

This was my first new post after returning to my original blogging home.
Where does my heart lay?

Here is my very first guest post, at a magical place we all know as Smoke and Mirrors, so it had to be a special subject, and was.
So special that it was the first time I had ever verbalised the story that has always been held close to my heart.
To this day I am still humbled at the honor Michael afforded me by asking.

This post was a long time coming and mainly in part to someone who knew it needed to come out. I cried the whole time I was typing, and for days afterwards.
Dear Mum

Pain
Passions
My Christmas angel
Marriage
I
Hope
I stolded a meme
Restless dreams
Love and sadness
I love, I hate, I’m over
Have you ever?

I’m gobsmacked that you thought this blogging thing would be so short lived.
Just imagine how different life may have turned out had it been that way.
I thank you dearly for the mention on this page.
    I am honored and humbled.
It wasn’t necessary but it sure was sweet of you.
I’m thinking about that word ‘family’ again. :D
The blog looks awesome too, btw.
    Seriously awesome!

you see, i think it was necessary..to have someone whose writing skills you admire enormously, and whose words speak to you, ask you to post on their blog is, simply put, quite the compliment michael…not to mention fainting material..if mark had got a photo of my face when i read the email, we could have won money with it!
life would indeed have been much different had this been a 7 day wonder…it wouldn’t have been nearly as good as it is…
    family? hells yeah!
