That is tragic. Celtic Lad is 11 and thinking that child is around his age is just tragic.
tragic pretty much sums it up, yes.
zoe is 9 this year, and the thought of her having a baby in 2 years almost sends me into a rabid frenzy..not to MENTION what it would do to her mother!
that doesn’t even bear thinking about!

Oh, you missed the doozy in Victoria where a woman had been raped by her father for 30 odd years, had children by him who all had genetic defects which were only viable through incestuous parentage BUT a spokesman for child protection blamed the victimised family for deliberately hiding these facts to explain why Not.One.Single doctor (in 3 different hospitals) had ever picked up that there was something not right with the biological parents, reported it, offered genetic testing/screening or basically questioned the mother.
good god! where are these people’s brains???
the really scary part is these are the oxygen thieves meant to be looking out for these things.
what hope have these poor souls got when those in the position to do something about it, don’t even see it??
FFS, sometimes I just despair of a society that can allow these things to happen…i must be getting old i think…
